4/10/2014 – Kenmore -Inglemoor starter Colin Portugal gave up two hits to the first two Rough Riders he faced. He allowed an rbi single in the 2nd for Roosevelt’s only run. From there ‘Port’ didn’t allow another hit, throwing a complete game and leading the Vikings to a 2-1 win.
Bailey Fee made two fine defensive plays at Short Stop in support of Portugal who seemed to get stronger as the game went on. Inglemoor scored twice in the 2nd inning when Jake Johnston knocked in Adam Berrada and Drew Larsen’s infield single scored Kody Sanders for the eventual game winning run. From there the Vikings relied on pitching and defense for the victory. Inglemoor moves to .500 in league play with a tough Issaquah club up next on their KingCo schedule.
